PitMax+ is a high-performance manure pit treatment engineered to help dislodge accumulated solids, prevent bottom buildup, and improve manure consistency during agitation and pump-out.
Developed specifically for hog and cattle manure systems, PitMax+ uses ultra-negatively charged, long-chain molecules to attract positively charged solid particles from the bottom of the pit. Acting like a magnet, the treatment loosens settled material and helps keep it suspended throughout the manure.
Its molecular structure allows PitMax+ to remain in suspension while bringing additional solid particles with it. This helps operators achieve more efficient agitation, improved pump-out performance, and more uniform distribution of manure nutrients.

Recommended Application Rates
Hog Manure
- Low Rate: 2 GAL per 100,000 GAL of manure
- High Rate: 4 GAL per 100,000 GAL of manure
Cattle Manure
- Low Rate: 1.5 GAL per 100,000 GAL of manure
- High Rate: 3 GAL per 100,000 GAL of manure
Application Schedule
Apply 50% of the recommended rate when the manure pit is approximately 25–35% full. Apply another 25% when the pit reaches 50% capacity, followed by the remaining 25% approximately 30 days before pump-out.
For maximum performance, distribute PitMax+ equally throughout the pit during application. Always read and follow the complete product label for application, handling, storage, and disposal instructions.
