AGRA Caliber is an AGRA Brand soft red winter wheat variety with medium-early maturity. Caliber is a stunning awnless variety with a healthy plant stature and medium-tall straw height.

Caliber offers excellent field adaptability, producing large heads with great test weight. Its strong agronomic package provides excellent field tolerance to leaf rust, stripe rust, Septoria Leaf Blotch, and Glume Blotch. Its maturity and dependable performance also make it a strong option for double-cropping programs.

Schlessman® Ohio yield trials show AGRA Caliber averaging 93.8 bu/ac in 2022, 113 bu/ac in 2023, and 96 bu/ac in 2024, resulting in a three-year average of 100.9 bu/ac.

AGRA Caliber contains the FHB1 gene, providing an important genetic defense against Fusarium Head Blight, commonly known as Head Scab. This disease can significantly affect wheat yield and grain quality throughout the Eastern Corn Belt.
