Recommended planting population is approximately 24,000-30,000 plants per acre. Nice, high yielding hybrid. Excellent stalks and roots. Very healthy, big, tall, robust plant. Strong silage hybrid in tonnage and nutritional quality. Performs best over varied soil types, 24,000 to 30,000 final stand. Long flex-type ear with good test weight. Agronomically, SX 526 grows as a medium-tall plant with medium high ear placement and a semi-flex ear type. It is rated among Schlessman® Hybrids best for early emergence and seedling vigor, stalk strength and standability, and root strength and anchorage.
