Recommended planting population is approximately 26,000-34,000 plants per acre. Consistently high yielder in early maturity group. Great performance across all soil types. Excellent dual-purpose hybrid. Full trait package with DuracadeViptera. Yielded very well in our testing. Agronomically, SX 354 grows as a medium-tall plant with medium high ear placement and a semi-flex ear type. It is rated among Schlessman® Hybrids best for early emergence and seedling vigor, stalk strength and standability, and root strength and anchorage.
