2525E is a 2.5 relative maturity Schlessman® Brand soybean variety carrying the Enlist E3 herbicide-tolerance trait. Plant type is classified as medium bush with medium tall plant height and gray pubescence. Strong late season drought tolerance. Able to thrive in wet conditions. Very consistent on heavier clay soil. Excellent standability. On Schlessman® agronomic scorecard, 2525E is rated among the strongest in the line-up for emergence, lodging resistance/standability, Phytophthora root rot field tolerance, and stress tolerance. It carries the PI 88788 soybean cyst nematode (SCN) resistance gene, an important defense against SCN-related yield loss and Sudden Death Syndrome pressure. It also carries the Rps 1c3a gene for Phytophthora root rot resistance. Trait technology: Tolerant to glyphosate, glufosinate, and Enlist (a 2,4-D choline formulation), giving growers three different herbicide chemistries to build a flexible, season-long weed-control program.
