Recommended planting population is approximately 28,000-34,000 plants per acre. Strong overall disease package. Outstanding dual-purpose hybrid. Great late season plant health. Able to compete with later season hybrids. Agronomically, SX 348 grows as a tall plant with medium high ear placement and a flex ear type. It is rated among Schlessman® Hybrids best for early emergence and seedling vigor, and stalk strength and standability. On Schlessman® Hybrids agronomic scorecard it rates among the strongest in the line-up for northern corn leaf blight resistance with good test weight. Ideal use: SX 348 is suited to both grain and silage production.
